Last November, I had the incredible privilege of being flown down to The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba for an inspiration trip to create original artwork for their VIP postcards and menus. It was my first time visiting Aruba, so every detail and experience felt heightened and deeply impactful. I was completely blown away by the desert-like landscape, the technicolor sunsets, and the overwhelming generosity of the RC Aruba team, who ensured that Lee (who handles PR for the property) and I were spoiled with the freshest food and the most relaxing massages.
My task was to create two original pieces that would capture the magic of the Bahada di Solo sunset—a breathtaking moment visible directly from the property—as well as their iconic Eternity Bridge, where countless life-changing events have taken place, from proposals and weddings to birthdays and beyond. I wanted the artwork to embody the vibrancy and warm hospitality that defines the property, and I’m so proud of how the final pieces turned out.
