Meagan Morrison
Meagan has an insatiable lust for life, and sees the world through the colorful, optimistic lens in which she illustrates. She grew up in a small town north of Toronto, Canada, but knew from her first visit to New York as a teenager that it would one day become her forever home. She received her Bachelor of Commerce at McGill University and Illustration AAS Degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
She started Travel Write Draw in 2010 as a way to manifest her dream profession of traveling the world and illustrating the journey through a fashion-art lens. Since then it has evolved into an immersive brand, garnering hundreds of thousands of community members, and led to creative partnerships with the world’s leading fashion and travel brands. Select clients include Andaz, Calvin Klein, Condé Nast Traveler, Dior, DVF, Emirates, E!, Harper’s Bazaar, IMG, Louis Vuitton, Montblanc, The Met, Vanity Fair, W Magazine, and The Ritz-Carlton.
Meagan has been featured as a top fashion illustrator to follow in several revered publications such as the New York Times, InStyle, Elle, and VOGUE while Travel Write Draw received the 2016 Bloglovin’ x H&M Award for Best Design Blog. When she isn’t on a plane flying to her next partnership, she is making art inspired by her travels in her Williamsburg studio.
