Before NYC turned orange 😩🧡!! I’ve been making a concerted effort to shop less this year after discovering I wear about 5% of my existing clothing. My Spring wardrobe has turned into a bit of a rotating uniform, consisting of about 5-7 basic pieces. Sweet Summer Weekends ☀️🍒🍧!! So far this year has felt a bit like moving through molasses, while driving 185 km/h on the Autobahn blindfolded 🤣. SO much time spent in my studio working, behind the scenes, on more projects than I ever thought I could handle at once. I have a really hard time recalling what even happened this past week, because the answer is everything LOL.

All this to say, I’m so. damn. grateful that June is finalllyyy here, and with that, the beginning of SUMMER WORK TRAVELS!! Just 4 more sleeps to go before I’ll be departing, and taking you ALL, on a back-to-back month long adventure abroad ✈️. I finally get to start sharing everything I’ve been working so hard to prepare these past 5 months!! Any guesses what’s coming next?!

Dressed in color for the opening night of “Tiffany in Color” at @MackloweGallery with my gorgeous friend of over 10 years @StepHeintz 👯‍♀️🌈🎨. Macklowe is the largest global home, and the world’s premier dealer, of authenticated Louis Comfort Tiffany lamps. Last night we got to witness these exquisite art nouveau masterpieces in all their glory ✨. I’m in AWE of how Tiffany managed to translate his admiration for the lushness of nature into bronze and stained glass. Take me to Paris 👩🏼‍🎨✈️🇫🇷!! I’m so in love with how the “La Vie En Rose” @TravelWriteDraw x @HotSoxCo socks turned out!! You can see the Eiffel Tower sparkling on the fabric as you do in the original painting 🥹✨. Oh and we made the decision to change the sky from pink to blue so it felt unique from our New York Flatiron sock. Truly so magical!! Thank you SO much for all the lovely support you’ve shown this collection. It means the absolute world to me!!

I finally got to spend Mother’s Day with my beau

I finally got to spend Mother’s Day with my beautiful mommy today and my heart is so full 🥹🫶🏼!! Swipe to see us then vs now. We’ve always been two peas in a pod 🫛💗🫛. If you’ve ever wondered why I care so much for this community, love so deeply and openly, it’s because of her 😭. My mother treats everyone she meets, no matter who they are or where they come from, with the same amount of respect, empathy, grace, compassion, and kindness. I am because she is and I’m so darn grateful. Wishing a gorgeous Mother’s Day to all the amazing mamas and mom figures out there!! You deserve the world!!

After months and months of heavy admin and commiss

After months and months of heavy admin and commissions, I always find it a bit tough to get back into my personal creative flow ✨. One of my hacks to tap back in, is to start with the things I find easiest to paint. In this case I went for Spring lilies 🥰🌺🎨. So here’s a lil glimpse into my process. And sorry for the shaky hand while painting combo. I’m currently without my tripod LOL. How do you push through creative blocks?! Lots of love xx MM

My illustration style has changed considerably sin

My illustration style has changed considerably since Sept 2014 (when I painted these) but my love of Lagerfeld’s Chanel has never wavered 😝💗🫶🏼. Especially his SS15 feminist collection which featured slogans like “Ladies First” and “History is Her Story”. Cara Delevigne lead the runway show, make that protest, with a megaphone in hand, while Anna Ewers and Binx Walton strutted with signs. Lagerfeld always brought such clever wit and innovation to his collections. He had a way of reflecting the cultural zeitgeist so brilliantly. I can’t wait to see how tomorrow’s Met Gala attendees interpret his legacy and to see the exhibition with my own eyes!!

A night (painting) at The Museum of Modern Art 🥹😭!! This video was taken mere minutes before, and during, last night’s “Women in Art” American Express Marriott Bonvoy Event. MoMA opened its doors after hours to 500 cardholder guests, for an early viewing of the new Georgia O’Keeffe exhibit. I was brought on to paint the attendees’ favourite flowers as a takeaway 🌹🫶🏼. I could not believe my good fortune being setup directly in front of Refik Anadol’s captivating AI Art installation “Unsupervised”. Of all the venues I’ve had the incredible privilege to paint within, this one really takes the cake🗽!! Head to my IG stories now for more bts and thank you, THANK YOU for having me!!

Is anyone else holding their breath for the Sofia

Is anyone else holding their breath for the Sofia Richie wedding at @HotelduCapEdenRoc or is it just me 🫣?! Despite being a decade older than her, I ADORE her style, and I’m standing by for all the updates like it’s the Royal Wedding 😂. Naturally, I had to look back at my own trip to Cap d’Antibes in 2019, and it has me itching to return there this summer!! Let’s manifest a little South of France in our near future travel plans, shall we 😉?!
