Darlings!! I’m absolutely over-the-MOON to share my 3-page illustrated spread in the new Autumn Style Issue of Artful Living Mag out NOW!! As a woman who lives unapologetically on her own terms, never waiting for permission to travel as she wishes and always embracing the magic of a solo adventure, I couldn’t imagine a more fitting article to contribute my art to. Written by the brilliant Alexandra Owens, who first discovered my work during her days at Allure, this piece feels like such a beautiful full-circle moment.
We decided to capture 3 distinct destinations for this piece to pair back with her words: Tanzania, Antarctica, and Scotland. I completely immersed myself into these illustrations while creating them, referencing my own photos from my camping adventure in the Serengeti many years ago. It made me feel like my childhood self, escaping to far away places through my art. To say I’m honored to be featured so prominently in Artful Living’s new Autumn Style Issue is a massive understatement!!
