My loves, I’m absolutely beside myself to have been flown to Miami to customize the new Miu Miu x New Balance sneaker collab for customers at the beautiful Miu Miu Bal Harbour boutique. Miu Miu has long been my dream fashion brand to partner with and I’m buzzing from the inside out to have been the artist selected to celebrate this brilliant launch.
Prior to the event, Miu Miu tasked me with creating some fun print designs, inspired by their current Spring collection, to adorn the shoe tote bags with. I was blown away when the majority of customers selected to have the designs painted on the actual sneakers themselves vs their carrying case. The clientele were so vibrant, vivacious, and bold. I truly had the time of my life.
Above you can see a closer look at one of the custom designs I created to adorn the collab tote. Another highlight of the trip was having the opportunity to stay at the St. Regis Bal Harbour hotel directly across the street from the Bal Harbour Shops. Being that I’ve worked so closely with the Marriott Luxury Hotel portfolio for years, and knowing the General Manager, I was upgraded to this unreal suite.
Above you can see my walk-in closet and below you can get a glimpse of my bedroom balcony. This was just one of the balconies available in my suite! It was incredible to be able to spend the day after the event lying on the beach and relaxing in my room. I could not have dreamed up a more sublime partnership and work trip.
