Condé Nast Traveler Singapore Etiquette Guide

In August 2017 I made my first trip to Singapore. It was the last stop on a whirlwind tour through China and Indonesia and all too brief. Consider it a testimony to how flavourful this destination is that it made such an impression on me during such a short period of time. I had the opportunity to stay at the exquisitely beautiful Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore where I interviewed the chief concierge, Murphy Loh on what NOT to do on your first visit to Singapore for an article with Condé Nast Traveler:

I wrote and illustrated the full guide. Below is a short synopsis of what the article covers so do check it out!

The Singapore Subway is immaculately clean and a great (cool) way to get around the city.

Expect to pick-up a few Singlish expressions while you’re there!

It’s true what they say: Singapore IS a city of fines (illustrated above).

It’s also true that Singapore is a food lover’s paradise. But it is highly recommended to eat your way through Hawker Centers to get a real taste for the city and local culture.

Much love,
Meag xx
