It was all about the mama’s this weekend at Bottega Veneta. I was commissioned to come in and draw beautiful BV customers with their babies in the new Pre Fall collection. I always love the challenge of marrying a look from the books with a client in realtime.
This red ensemble you see above is one of my favorites! Oversized sequins cascading down the skirt pockets? I say, YES PLEASE!
I loved meeting Ann and her son Nicholas. She is a longtime fan of the brand and mother of two adorable boys. Also, Nicholas was absolutely flirting with me, ha! Just look at his eyes and little smirk. Too cute!
For the top customers who couldn’t make it in on Saturday, I did a few custom sketches from photos. I tried to keep the sketches light and airy for this event – just like Spring.
The Bottega team also sent me this incredible knitted butterfly dress to wear from the cruise collection and I fell in love with it. How absolutely magical is that print?! My only wish was that MY mama was here for all the fun festivities. I miss my family a lot these days but know they are with me always in spirit.
